In the nineteenth century we witness great ideas drag humanity from deficiency to plenty. We observe a lot of inventions in the mechanical in the Victorian times. The likes of Morse, Alexander Graham, and Thomas Edison were the bolt from the blue of technological revolution.

Information technology has certainly transformed the present day, however you have to admit, electric telegraphs, automobiles, chemical and steel industries, photography, telephones, and the steam engine were pretty much a kick in the teeth of inventions and they brought about revolutions as huge as anything that information technology has brought about so far. But we cannot denounce the strides IT has made and is yet to make just yet.

My money is now on biotechnology, I like to call it “bionic” science and inventions. Not limited to mechanics but inclusive of pharmaceutical industries.Watching Captain America, the Hulk, and Spiderman all time children’sfavorite superhero stories starts with a prick of a needle, or a bite of an insect carrier of a supergene. With many optimistic visions of the technological advancements we assume to witness what this span of time (an age that no one thought they would live to see, no new term has arisen in which to christen our present era) might havehas in store for us.

We are living in a time when Nano technology,Meta elements and dramatic computing will greatly transform our world. We stand in the relation to the future as someone in the 1900 stood to the events of 1969, when humans landed on the moon.

It appears that the fastest growing domains in the patent class appear to be online learning and digital representation. How long before a big transformation takes over the face of science, I predict bionics; the strides in today’s technology are inclined to humanity missions, which is one way to look at it, military experiments, medical biotech practice or just plain simple R&D, but it’s within grasp.

Most inventions have been based on chemistry and physics. Biology is yet to bring forth a new patent class maybe for what’s beyond belief for people today as a car would have been to horseman in medieval period.
